Medication Assisted Treatment

Our physician-guided anti-craving medication programs offer the highest level of comfort, professionalism, and discretion to ensure a safe and fast rehabilitation process. These services help reduce the cravings and withdrawal symptoms of alcohol and opioid addiction.

Naltrexone for anti-cravings

Naltrexone is used to block the sedative and euphoric effects of alcohol and a variety of opioids including morphine, heroin, and codeine. It works by binding to receptors and keeping them from being stimulated, therefore suppressing cravings.

Vivitrol for anti-cravings

Vivitrol binds to opioid receptors and takes away the ‘feel good’ sensation that occurs when using opioids and alcohol. The effects of this drug last approximately 30 days after treatment.

Sublocade for anti-cravings

Sublocade is buprenorphine given in injections. This treatment reduces cravings up to 30 days after a single treatment, which helps make the rehabilitation process much easier.

Suboxone for anti-cravings

Suboxone is a combination of Buprenorphine and Naloxone. The first helps relieve withdrawal symptoms while the second effectively removes the “high” from alcohol and opioids. It can be used for a longer period without side effects; however, you should consult with your doctor to maintain a proper dosage and taper off at the right time.
